What are badges?

Badges are little square icons on your chest, like a police badge. They also glow in dark. So that's pretty cool, I'd say.

What do I have to do to get a badge?

If You want a global badge, and you create:

  • mods
  • modpacks
  • resource packs
  • streams
  • videos
  • other Minecraft related content

You can also get badge for giving money to that sellout LatvianModder on GitHub Sponsors or Twitch (Note: these badges will only remain active as long as you are subscribed).

If you do any of those things, you can message LatvianModder#0001 on any discord server to request to be whitelisted on the badge server. Once you are whitelisted, in any Minecraft 1.12, you log on server, and /set <url>. You can /set none to remove your badge or /view to open badge information page (Example). This system is a bit broken right now, moving servers 'n all, so you will just have to paste your IGN and image link.

Check back in 1 to 24 hours after request, I might not add you instantly. Or might not add you at all, if I decide that something isn't right, you will never know :v

Any rules?

  • Valid image hosts:
  • Valid image sizes:
    • 16x16
    • 32x32
    • 64x64
    • 128x128
    • 256x256
  • URL has to be shorter than 256 characters.
  • Don't use company logos or other images you don't have permission to use. This includes FTB logo.
  • Don't use NSFW (Not Safe For Work) images.

Badge changes are monitored, and breaking any of last 2 rules may result in a ban from badge server.

Help! My badge doesn't work!

Badges will only work if you have FTBUtilities mod installed.

They also may be cached for better performance, or the requests are being processed, so it might take up to day for it to update.

Can I create my own badge system for my server?

What an oddly specific question. Yes you can, you have to set ftbutilities.badge permission for rank or player to raw link of the image.
